India to sign Memorandum of Cooperation with Finland

New Delhi, Oct 16 (UNI) The Union Cabinet today approved the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of Road Transport between India and Finland.

Addressing newsmen, Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunshi said Finland is amongst world's leading country in Road Safety Standards.

The proposed cooperation, to be signed during Shipping, Road Transport and Highways Minister T R Baalu's visit to Finland in November, would be quite useful and would benefit Ministry's technical officers in enhancing their technical and managerial skils in handling mega highway construction/maintenance and management projects, he added.
