Four of family murdered in UP capital

Lucknow, Oct 16: Four members of a family, hailing from Bihar, were murdered here late last night following an old rivalry.

According to the police, one Pamppal Singh, along with his wife and two children, was found dead at Gautamkhera village under Mohanlalganj locality in the state capital. The unidentified criminals had used sharp-edged weapons to slit the throats of the deceased.

Besides Pamppal(55), the deceased included his wife Meena(50), son Pawan(22) and daughter Jyoti(12).

Pamppal Singh had taken the agriculture land of one Narain Singh and used to live with his family members near the tubewell.

A case has been filed and a hunt lauched to nab the assailants.
