Court grants permission for Narco Analysis on three blast accused
Mumbai, Oct 16 (UNI) Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) judge today granted permission to conduct Narco analysis tests on three persons accused of the July 11 serial blasts in Mumbai Suburban train.
Anti terrorist squad investigating the case had moved an application before the MCOCA judge M R Bhatkar seeking court permission to take the narco analysis tests on Mohammed Ali Alam Shaikh, Mohd Majid Shaikh and Asif Khan Bashir Khan, to which court granted permission today.
All the three accused are presently in the police custody alongwith three others till October 26. The court had on October nine granted judicial custody to seven other persons arrested in the same case which included Dr Tanvir Ansari who went to Pakistan to receive arms training and also to acquired knowledge for making bombs.
So far police have arrested 13 persons in connection with the July 11 serial train blasts and were booked under the stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).
In the blasts 188 people lost their lives and more than 800 others injured.
