Radha Mohan Singh re-elected BJP's Bihar unit president

Patna, Oct 15 (UNI) BJP today unanimously re-elected Radha Mohan Singh as its Bihar unit President, who pledged to maintain coordination between the partymen and government saying the credibility of the party depended on the success of the NDA government in the state.

Speaking after his re-election, Mr Singh highlighted the achievements of the government and role of BJP in achieving the goals. He said the responsibility of the party has increased manifold and every worker should try hard to live upto the expectation of the people.

''It was our moral and political responsibility to fulfil the promises made by the party and coordination between the government and the party is an essential factor for it'', he said.

He stressed the need to work in coordinated manner shunning all personal grievances and keep distance from groupism.

Mr Singh also referred to the menace of terrorism and held the Union government responsible for it saying the UPA government was leaning towards the terrorists. He said the deferment of execution of capital punishment to the terrorist, Afzal who had attacked the symbol of democracy, was a glaring example of softness of the Centre towards terrorists.

The BJP would never tollerate politics on the issue and would launch a nation-wide agitation for implementation of capital punsihment to Afzal. Apart from widerange demonstration on October 18, the party would stage a symbolic capital punishment to Afzal on October 20 at all public places in Bihar, he said.

Many senior leaders including Kailashpati Mishra, former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and in-charge of BJP's Bihar unit Shanta Kumar and state ministers were present to greet Mr Singh.
