Trains cancelled and rescheduled in view of bandh

Dhanbad, Oct 13 (UNI) With the Revolutionary Democratic Front- sponsored 24-hour bandh in Jharkhand, Bihar and Orissa beginning this midnight, railway authorities in Dhanbad Division cancelled local trains and rescheduled timing for some other trains.

According to railway sources, one passenger train was cancelled from today, while services of Palamu Up and Down express trains will be cancelled tomorrow.

Seven local trains will also not ply tomorrow, the sources said adding that routes of six other local trains had been diverted.

The bandh was called to protest the arrest of the party leader Shila Devi in Orissa recently.
