Toddler, abducted by childless couple, reunited with parents

Varanasi, Oct 13 (UNI) A toddler abducted by a childless couple from Varanasi on October 9 has been reunited with his family after being recovered from Bhoolanpur railway station here last evening, railway police today said.

Prashant, the son of Rakesh Kumar and Reshamlata -- natives of Rohtas district, Bihar -- was abducted from the waiting hall of Varanasi cantonment railway station on Monday.

The parents filed a complaint with the railway police, who recovered the toddler last evening from Bindu Singh, waiting to catch a train to Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh at Bhoolanpur railway station.

On being interrogated, Bindu admitted of abducting the toddler with connivance of her husband Vijay Pratap Singh.

The toddler has been reunited with his parents.
