Southwest monsoon withdraws from parts of Telangana

Hyderabad, Oct 13 (UNI) Southwest monsoon has withdrawn from some parts of Telangana.

''The withdrawal line passes through CoochBehar, Midnapore, Bhubaneshwar, Hyderabad, and Ratnagiri,'' the Met Office said today.

While mainly dry weather would prevail over Telangana and Rayalaseema in the last 48 hours, isolated rain or thundershowers were likely to occur over Coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Isolated rain occurred over Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Dry Weather prevailed over Telangana and Rayalaseema in the last 24 hours.

Prakasam Barrage and Tadepalligudem recorded rainfall of 2 and one cm respectively.

The maximum temperatures rose at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and changed little over Telangana and Rayalaseema.

The highest maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius was recorded at Kadapa, Nellore and Ongole.

The lowest minimum temperature of 18 degrees Celsius was recorded at Arogyavaram, it added.
