Notice to Ludhiana Improvement Trust
Chandigarh, Oct 13 (UNI) The Punjab and Haryaan High Court today issued notices to the Ludhiana Improvement Trust and other respondents for October 27 on a plea by a New Delhi-based firm seeking direction for the appointment of an arbitrator in connection with the ongoing dispute regarding the construction of a multi-crore City Centre at Ludhiana which has been entrusted to the petitioner firm.
The notices were issued by the court's division bench comprising the acting Chief Justice Surinder Singh Nijjar and Justice Surinder Singh Saron during the hearing of the petition filed by the firm - Today Homes Ltd.
The company has also prayed for directions to quash the Improvement Trust orders of September 14, 2006 vide which the trust chairman had asked Today Homes to provide it complete audit of accounts pertaining to the multi-crore project.
