National Seminar on Micro Finance in Hindi on Oct 16

Bangalore, Oct 13 (UNI) As part of its platinum jubilee celebrations, public sector Vijaya Bank, in association with College of Agricultural Banking and Reserve Bank of India, has organised a national seminar on Micro Finance in Hindi on October 16.

Bank Chairman and Managing Director Prakash P Mallya said in a release here today that the seminar focused on some key issues of micro finance like emergence of women, delivery models in micro finance, issues of cost and margin in delivering micro finance, non-agricultural business opportunities, group enterprise and the collaboration between micro finance institutions and banks.

''All the head offices, departments, branches and offices have been provided with English-Hindi and Hindi-English glossaries. Books on banking and of general interest in Hindi are being provided to the regional offices and headoffice library every year,'' he said.
