Mr Prasad R Menon next MD of Tata Power

Mumbai, Oct 13: Tata Power today announced the appointment of Mr Prasad R Menon as the next Managing Director of Tata Power. He is slated to take charge on Monday.

Prior to this, Mr Menon was the MD of Tata Chemicals for more than 6 years, a press release said.

The company also announced the appointment of Mr Nawshir Mirza as non-executive independent director on the Board.

Mr Mirza is the Indian advisor for the Jardine Matheson Group and was also a former partner with Ernst&Young, the release added.
