Militants attack Army convoy in Kashmir, two injured
Baramulla, Oct 13 (UNI) Two civilians were wounded when militants attacked an Army convoy in this district of north Kashmir today, official sources said.
They said militants fired at the convoy at around 1245 hrs at Kahanspora village.
The fire was returned by troops. A matador carrying passengers was caught in the gun-fire, resulting in injuries to two civilians, including a woman, the sources added.
The wounded have been identified as Gulshan and Ashiq Hussain, both residents of Sopore area of this district.
The injured have been shifted to the Baramulla hospital from where they were referred to a Srinagar hospital.
