IT officials unearth unaccounted income worth Rs 8.35 crore

Surat, Oct 13 (UNI) The Income Tax department's Surat division has unearthed unaccounted income worth Rs 8.35 crore from three builders in the diamond city here.

According to IT officials, unaccounted income worth Rs 65 lakh, Rs 6 crore and Rs 1.7 crore were recovered from three different builders in the city.

The search operations started from Tuesday onwards.

The search operations also led to the recovery of several documents, which may reveal further unrecorded transactions, officials added.
