Court summons CBI SP in forgery case against DCP
New Delhi, Oct 13 (UNI) A city court today directed a CBI Superintendent of Police to appear in person before it on October 31 in connection with a forgery case against a Deputy Commissioner of Police, Delhi.
According to the CBI, the accused, Bhupinder Singh Bhola got false birth certificates issued from Ludhiana of both his sons to avail long term benefit by way of admissions and job purposes and also to enable his son to participate in an international cricket tournament, which was held in England.
The Patiala House court asked the CBI official to appear in person and tell the court as to what investigations have been conducted to identify the officials responsible for actually committing the forgery.
