Court sentences lifer to 19 people

Hazaribagh, Oct 13 (UNI) A fast track court today awarded life imprisonment to 19 people involved in a murder case registered under Barkattha police station six years ago in this district.

Justice M M Singh today sentenced lifer to them involved in the killing of one Vasudeo Singh in Sodhakhap village under Barkattha police station area in a land dispute.

Vasudeo Singh was lynched on July 6, 2000 after being called to solve the land dispute at panchayat.
