Chennai Press Club condemns attack on TV journalists

Chennai, Oct 13 (UNI) The Chennai Press Club today condemned the attack on television journalists by police and anti-social elements during the civic poll in the city.

In a statement here, Club General Secretary S Sivakumar said while Jaya TV reporter T M Viswanath was attacked by a police official, WIN TV Cameraman Thambidurai was attacked by anti-social elements.

Mr Sivakumar demanded the Tamil Nadu Government take stern action against the police officials and anti-social elements.
