An accused escapes from police lock-up in Vadodara

Vadodara, Oct 13 (UNI) An accused who was in the police custody, gave a slip to the Vadodara rural police and escaped from lock-up this morning.

According to the rural police station sources, Bhanka Bharwad alias Bhanu was arrested on charges of stealing of two buffalos from Gadapura area of the city yesterday.

Police said, the accused had long history of crimes of stealing scattered domestic-animals by driving them to his own stable.

Police has launched a hunt to nab him again, police sources said.
