Accused in London murder case arrested in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Oct 13 (UNI) The city police today arrested N Nagendra Reddy, the main accused, involved in murder cases in London and Bangalore and recovered a car, two cellphones and one knife from his possession.

Police said Mr Reddy was the main accused in the murder of Radha Krishna during his stay in London in the mid of October 2004. The accused allegedly attacked Mr Krishna with the assistance of two other persons with knifes and stabbed him indiscriminately.

After Krishna's death, the accused burnt the body by pouring petrol on the outskirts of London city. The diffferences between Krishna and Reddy arose earlier in a business deal.

Mr Reddy, who returned to India in December 2004, was involved in another murder case in Bangolore. He allegedly killed Rajesh Gupta, a software engineer at a lodge in Bangolore on January 10, 2005.

Receivng a complaint from his sister that Mr Gupta was harassing her, Mr Reddy hatched a plan with his friend and stabbed him to death in the lodge after consuming liquor. The accused was arrested in the murder case, but escaped on August seven, 2006.

The city police also nabbed Ch Srisailam and B Srihari, who assisted Mr Reddy in the murder of Mr Gupta. Mr Reddy was also involved in rebbery cases in the city, the police added.
