24-member Indian squad for Junior/Cadet World Archery Championship

New Delhi, Oct 13 (UNI) A 24-member Indian squad, including 12 girls, will represent the country in the Junior and Cadet World Archery Championship to be held in Merida, Mexico from october 15 to 21.

Squad: Junior Recurve: Boys : Prabhat Kandir, Kapil, Sandeep Kamboj Girls: Punya Prabha, Reshma Banerjee, Ranu Junior Compound: Boys : Palton Hansda, Santosh Tamang, Abhishek Verma Girls: Sweety Kumari, Niva Kerketta, Rishita Mandava Cadet Recurve: Boys : Adonda Raju, Rajib Basumatary, Ravindhar Girls: B Pranitha, Pratima Bora, Meenakshi Cadet Compound: Boys : Sumit Kumar Mishra, Renso Purty, Sanjay Swansi Girls: Namita Yadav, Asreeta Kerketta, Jyoti Banra Coaches: Dharmendra Tiwary, Sanjeeva K Singh, Ram Bahadur Tamang, Ms Purnima Mahato.

Managers: Gunjan Abrol, Satayanarayana Cherukuri.

Meanwhile, Jayanta Talukdar, who won the Gold Medal in 1st Meteksan World Archery Championship at Perec, Croatia has qualified to play in the final of these series in Merida. Jayanta will reach Mexico on October 19 to participate in the final to be held from October 21 to 23.
