'Young Leader' editor Jinendra Jain nominated for Jain Sangh award

Ahmedabad, Oct 12 (UNI) Veteran journalist and editor of ''Young Leader'' Jinendra Jain has been nominated for the Jain Sangh Seva Puraskar for the year 2007.

The award carries a cash prize of Rs 1.25 lakh and a memento.

It is given by the Jain Vishwavidyalaya. Apart from being editor of ''Young Leader'', Mr Jain also edits the Jain newsletter ''Jinendu''. He also actively supports social amity, environment protection, non-violence and vegetarianism in his writings, a statement here said.
