Water levels in Kerala reservoirs up

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 12 (UNI) Water levels in major reservoirs in Kerala have shown an increase according to figures released by the Central Water Commission.

At Idukki, the water level increased from 2,368.18 ft to 2370.18 ft while it rose from 547.18 ft to 550.03 ft at Idamalayar, a release said here.

The water level increased from 374.18 ft to 375.16 ft at Kallada.

When compared with the water level recorded during the same period last year, Idukki Reservoir showed a decrease of 24.69 ft and Idamalayar Reservoir 0.79 ft.

However, Kallada Reservoir showed an increase of 1.31 ft.
