'SYNERGY'06' to be an Operations
Mumbai, Oct 12 (UNI) Shailesh J Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM), IIT Bombay, proposes to dwell upon various issues emerging into the field of marketing in its event 'Synergy '06' to be held on October 14.
Top executives from leading companies would address the delegates on topics like Brand Repositioning, Word-of-mouth marketing, Retail Strategies in marketing and E-Procurement, Vendor Managed Inventory and 3PL in Supply Chain Management, said a SJMSOM release here today.
The other highlight of the event is a panel discussion on ''Building a Market focused operations Strategy''. It brings the trade off between customer-response focus of marketing managers, and cost-efficiency focus of operation managers.
The event will also have a Summer Project Contest, where selected students from top B-schools have been invited to present their Summer Projects and the impact they made on their company. Synergy, being sponsored by TCI Supply Chain Solutions is the combined Operations and Marketing Continuum, the flagship event of SJMSOM.
