Rabri had her own income-counsel

Patna, Oct 12 (UNI) Counsel for Railway Minister Lalu Prasad and his wife former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi today submitted before the special CBI judge in a Disproportionate Assets (DA) case against then that Mrs Rabri Devi had her own separate source of income.

While arguing in the case pending before a designated court against the couple their counsel Rana Pratap Singh informed the court that Mrs Rabri had income from agriculture, dairy and house rent.

He said that Mrs Rabri had submitted her income tax return of the year 1986-87 to 1996-97 in the year 1996 for 10 years. The Counsel further added that this fact has already been admitted by the CBI witnesses also.

The argument will be continued tomorrow.
