National dodge ball championpships at Jalandhar from Oct 28

Chandigarh, Oct 12 (UNI) The Haryana Amateur Dodge Ball Association will conduct trials to select the state dodge ball teams of Men and Women on October 15.

While giving this information a spokesman of the Association said today that interested players for the trial would report at Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector-7 Panchkula.

He said that the selected teams would represent the state in the forthcoming third Dodge Ball Senior National Championship scheduled to be held at Jalandhar from October 28 to October 30.

He said that dodge ball is a new game in the state and the Assosiation was making its best efforts to popularise this game among the sportspersons. He informed that there are ten players in one team out of which four players are extras.

The game started from America and now it was gaining popularity all over the world.
