Liberty inks agreement for supplying footwear to European markets

Chandigarh, Oct 12 (UNI) The Liberty Group, a leading footwear manufacturer in India, has received an order worth Rs 100 crore for the supply of its safety shoes in the next three years to the European market.

An agreement in this context was signed between Mr Adesh Gupta, CEO Liberty Group and Schhfabrik Van Elten of Germany represented by Mr Heinder Van Elten, Managing Director of the company.

Under the agreement, Liberty shall provide Van Elten a minimum of 300,000 to maximum 500,000 pairs of safety shoes per annum in the next three years.

The agreement was signed in a delegation session in Germany yesterday, a CII statement here today stated.

A high level business and official delegation headed by Haryana Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda participated in this session organised by CII. Mr Gupta alongwith 30 top industrialists houses of Haryana are part of this delegation.

In India, Liberty is the only company that manufactures quality safety shoes with PU-technology under the brand name Warrior. Elten has chosen Liberty to supply them with the safety footwear which shall be outsourced for marketing in Europe.

Van Elten is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of quality footwear for safety and protection at work.
