Israeli forces kill 4 Palestinians in Gaza clashes

GAZA, Oct 12 (Reuters) Israeli forces killed three Palestinian gunmen and a teenage bystander during a raid in the central Gaza Strip today, witnesses and medics said.

The Israeli army confirmed clashes were under way in Abassan village, east of Khan Younis. It said troops were searching for facilities used by militants waging a 6-year-old Palestinian revolt and fired on gunmen who tried to attack them.
