Indo Asian bags export contract from Saudi Arabian firm

New Delhi, Oct 12 (UNI) Indo Asian Fusegear Ltd (IAFL), leading manufacturer of electrical equipment and switchgear, today secured an order from Saudi National Lamp and Electrical Ltd, Saudi Arabia, for the export of electrical equipment used in the manufacture of lighting products.

The order, valued at Rs 21 crore, consists of electrical equipment used in the manufacture of lighting products including HID lamps, CFLs and components of lighting products.

''Our exports turnover is increasing significantly. We hope to achieve a 50 per cent growth per annum in our export turnover. The order of this size signifies the acceptance of our efforts and quality products by the global market,'' IAFL Chairman and MD V P Mahendru said.

This is the first time when such large volume of export contract for the export of electrical equipment has been received by the company.

Presently, its products are available in more than 80 countries across the globe including the SAARC nations, the European Union and United Kingdom.

It has an all India marketing network with regional marketing offices at Delhi, Calcutta, Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Secunderabad, Coimbatore, Jaipur, Lucknow, Nagpur, Pune and Cochin and has a network of over 250 authorised distributors and over 15,000 Electrical Dealers and Retailers.
