Franklin Templeton raises stake in India Infoline

New Delhi, Oct 12 (UNI) Through an open market purchase, Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has acquired 2.64 per cent stake in India Infoline Ltd for a consideration of Rs 22.34 crores.

According to the latter, the shares were purchased at about Rs 186 per share.

Prior to acquisition, Franklin Templeton Investments had a 5.7 per cent stake in the company, which has now risen to 8.34 per cent.

The total FIIs holding in the company is 13.1 per cent and Mutual fund holding is seven per cent.
