Don't lose patience in adverse circumstances: President

Gwalior, Oct 12 (UNI) Advising youths to be patient in the face of adverse circumstances, President A P K Abdul Kalam today said projects taken in hand must be completed with dogged determination.

Dr Kalam was addressing 'National Symposium on Instrumentation and Bio-Medical Instrumentation' and 'Prof Satish Dhawan Smriti Vyakhyan Mala' at ITM Universe under the joint auspices of ITM and Indian Instrumentation Society.

Madhya Pradesh Governor Balram Jakhar and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan were prominent among those present.

''In order to complete any project, you must possess leadership ability. Also, you must know how to manage it whether the project is of science, education, social welfare or politics,'' he said.

Dr Kalam said Prof Dhawan, who was his ''guru'', and had taught him that irrespective of whether the project was small or big and regardless of the magnitude or enormity of problems, they must be confronted and overcome.

He said this was possible only through team work.

He stressed that the enormity of the problem would be proportional to the magnanimity of the mission.

The President called upon students to decide that what they wanted to do and write it down or send it to him at his website.

He promised to provide all possible suggestion or help.
