Apollo Tyres Q2 net up 3.8 pc to Rs 19.37 crore
Mumbai, Oct 12 (UNI) Apollo Tyres has registered a 3.8 per cent marginal rise in net profit to Rs 19.37 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 18.66 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005.
Announcing the results, the company said its total income (net of excise) has increased by 21.13 per cent to Rs 767.5 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 from Rs 633.6 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005.
The company's total income also includes exports of its products to South America, Pakistan, South East Asia, Middle East countries and Africa. Its product range includes truck and bus bias, light truck bias and radial, passenger car radial, farm bias and radial.
