Suzlon Energy national TT begins at Gandhidham

Gandhidham, Kutch, Oct 11 (UNI) The qualifying rounds for the Suzlon Energy National Ranking Table Tennis Championship 2006 began here today and will continue tomorrow.

The following players have been qualified for the main draw after today's qualifying rounds played here at Kandla Port Trust's SVP auditorium, Gopalpuri.

Sub Junior girls singles (Group I): S Narasimha Priya, Tamil Nadu, Gr II Palay Moitra NB, Gr III Harshitha Ravi TN and Gr IV Gautam Dange MHR.

Sub Junior boys singles: Gr I Siddhesh Gande MHR, Gr II Sridhar Tripathi MHR, Gr III Sandeepan Dey PSPB-A, Gr IV Shivam Sharma PSPB-A.

Junior girls singles: Gr I Saveri Rathod MHR, Gr II Namita Khedkar MHR, Gr II Kavita Das NB, Gr IV Shruti Talnekar MHR.

Junior boys singles: Gr I Varun Anand DLI, Gr II S S Chakraborty BN, Gr III Dhiraj Ray MHR, Gr IV N Samdeer NB.

Men's qualifying rounds are in progress and women's singles qualifying rounds will be played tomorrow.
