SUV, carrying Jolie's assistants, hits two-wheeler in Pune

Pune, Oct 11 (UNI) A sports utility vehicle, carrying Hollywood star Angelina Jolie's crew members from their hotel to the Sind Housing Colony for the shoot of the film ''Mighty Heart'', hit a two-wheeler on the Senapati Bapat road here this afternoon.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

The matter came to light as the media following the star happened to see the minor accident. However, the officials at the Janawadi police station, under whose jurisdiction the incident occurred, were hesitant to speak about the incident.

The officials said the complainant, Mittal Rawat (19), stated that his two-wheeler's indicator was slightly damaged when an SUV brushed past it.

The driver of the SUV tried to avoid the mishap, but due to little space available for manoeuvre, the vehicle dashed against the two-wheeler. Later, it came to light that the SUV was carrying Jolie's crew members to the location of the shoot at Sind Housing Colony.

A case has been registered against the driver of the SUV, they added.
