IAF joint exercise with Singapore and France
Shillong, Oct 11 (UNI) The Singapore Air Force will fly its F-16 for the second time in India in a joint exercise with the Indian Air Force at Kalaikunda airbase in West Bengal next month.
After hosting its Singapore counter-part, the IAF would have similar exercise with its French counterpart on February next year.
''The joint exercise with both our counterparts would continue for three weeks,'' Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) of Eastern Air Command (EAC) Air Marshal F H Major told reporters here.
Singapore would bring its F-16 while the French would come with Mirage-2000, the AOC-in-C informed.
He said the joint-exercise would help the air warriors of both the countries to exchange skills.
Earlier, both the Singapore and French air warriors have conducted similar joint exercises.
