Group clash over minor girl rape

Davanagere, Karnataka, Oct 11: Tension prevailed at Nilgund Village, 45 Km from here, as two groups clashed with each other last night over alleged rape of a minor a few days ago.

Scores of people were injured in stone pelting by the groups.

Some houses and vehicles were also damaged.

The injured have been admitted to nearby hospital and district hospital here.

So for no arrest have been made. Additional police force from Davanagere rushed to the site and the situation was stated to be tense but under control.
