Fan comes on a bicycle from Delhi to Mumbai to wish Bachchan

Mumbai, Oct 11 (UNI) An avid Amitabh Bachchan fan has cycled all the way from New Delhi to Mumbai to wish the superstar on his birthday here today.

The 15-day trip was flagged off from New Delhi on September 26, a release said.

Cycling for roughly 16 hours a day, Mr Rajan Soni peddled nearly 1700 km to reach Mumbai in time to convey his greetings to the legendary superstar.

A car mechanic by profession, Mr Soni has been doing this exercise for the last two years. During his trip, he travelled through Kishengarh, Ajmersharif, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Jaipur, Udaipur, Ratanpur, Ajmer, Godhra, Ankleshwar, Surat, Balsar and Bilar.

He made a halt at Ajmersharif to offer prayers for the megastar's long and healthy life. The ardent Bachchan admirer has managed to meet his idol during his previous trips when the megastar personally congratulated him on his efforts.
