VSP inaugurates Online system

Visakhapatnam, Oct 10 (UNI) Visakhapatnbam Steel Plant(VSP) Chairman and Managing Director Y Siva Sagar Rao today inaugurated the Online 'safety information management system' and Online quality evaluation and study system.

Speaking after inaugurating the systems here, he said that the nation was in a mature phase of computer era, leading to digital darwinism and era of the survival of the fittest, and predicted that within a decade, people in every village of the country would be using Computers and Internet.

Mr Rao said the focus would be on customer-e centric services as part of the IT Week celebrations organised by the Information Technology department in the VSP. The need of the hour was to deliver services instantly, he added.
