Two suspected dengue cases in K'taka

Bellary, Karnataka, Oct 10 (UNI) Two more suspected dengue cases have been reported in this district of Karnataka.

Two children -- six-year-old Vinaykumar and Lakshmi -- were admitted to VIMS hospital here yesterday with suspected dengue fever, District Health Officer (DHO) Dr R V Hanumaiah said today.

Their blood samples have been sent to Bangalore for confirmation, he added.

With this, the number of suspected dengue cases in the district so far this year had risen to 16.
