Three more PoK citizens refuse to return home

Jammu, Oct 10 (UNI) Three more citizens of Pakistan- occupied Kashmir (PoK), who came to meet their family and relatives in Jammu and Kashmir, have refused to return to their home through Chakkan-Da-Bagh point on the Line of Control (LoC).

Official sources said today a total of 93 people from both sides of the LoC exchanged sides in the fortnightly Poonch-Rawalakot bus service but three PoK citizens failed to turn up at Chakkan Da Bagh.

Tauseef Ahmed a resident of Kotli, Pok, his daughter Nandia and Arshed Niwad hailing from Hajeera, PoK, who come to this side last fortnight to meet their family and relatives in the border district of Rajouri, has refused to go back.

An aged and ailing PoK citizen Nawab Din, who had come to meet his divided family in Budhal, Rajouri, had also refused to return home. As authorities were preparing to forcibly push him back, the state High Court came to his rescue and stayed his deportation.

One of the residents of Rajouri, who returned from PoK, was seriously ill. Identified as Mohammad Sadiq. He was taken in an ambulance from Cchakkan Da Bagh to district hospital in Poonch.
