Suri's death concern for Great Eastern's future: Bhattacharjee
Kolkata, Oct 10 (UNI) West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee today expressed concern over the future of Great Eastern Hotel following death of its owner Lalit Suri.
'' I am worried. I will collect information, '' he told reporters in reply to a question whether the death of the industrialist would upset the revival of the heritage hotel, taken over by Mr Suri, from the state Government in July last.
Mr Suri, the chief of Bharat Group of Hotels, died in London early today.
He had taken over Great Eastern, Asia's oldest hotel, which had been incurring losses for years.
