Sri Lanka win toss, elect to bat first
Ahmedabad, Oct 10 (UNI) Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene won the toss in their second ICC Champions Trophy qualifying match against Zimbabwe and elected to bat at the Sardar Patel Stadium, Motera here today.
Zimbabwe made one change to their side from the one whch lost to West Indies here on Sunday, bringing in T Mupariwa in place of E Rainsford, while Sri Lanka rested Chaminda Vaas bringing in Ruchira Perera for him.
For Zimbabwe this match is crucial as they have to win it to keep their hopes alive for qualifying for the next stage, while a Lanka win will put them into the next stage.
