SpiceJet introduces 9th aircraft
New Delhi, Oct 10: With induction of a new-generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft to its fleet of eight, SpiceJet today announced consolidation plan of its existing network.
The no-frills airline will launch six new direct daily flights: Delhi-Hyderabad, Hyderabad- Bangalore, Bangalore-Delhi, Delhi-Bangalore, Bangalore-Hyderabad and Hyderabad-Delhi.
On Delhi-Hyderabad sector, it will be third flight. On Delhi-Bangalore sector, it will be second flight.
''SpiceJet strictly follows international and proven model of low-cost airline,'' said SpiceJet's CEO Siddhanta Sharma. ''Instead of opening more routes, we believe in introducing more flights on existing routes.''
