Sibal to visit Nagaland

Kohima, Oct 10 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Science and Technology and Ocean Development Kapil Sibal will pay an official visit to Nagaland on October 13.

According to Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) sources here, Mr Sibal will arrive in the state capital on Friday and will call on Nagaland Governor Shyamal Datta, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Leader of Opposition I Imkong.

He is likely to visit the Naga Heritage Village at Kisama near here where the famous Hornbill Festival will begin on December one.

He is also likely to inaugurate the Nagaland Bamboo Mission complex in the fifth Mile of Dimapur town.

Nagaland Government is chalking out the detailed programme of the Sibal's visit, sources said.
