Rs 3.9 crore for municipalities to fight dengue
Machilipatnam, Oct 10 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Municipal Administration Minister Koneru Ranga Rao today said Rs 3.9 crore had been granted to muncipalities in the state to control mosquito breeding and prevent the outbreak of dengue and chikungunya.
The Government had arranged a control room in the capital to monitor the situation and problems of patients, he told reporters here.
Mr Rangarao said so far there was no trace of dengue fever in Krishna District. All muncipalities should stock necessary medicines.
