Romanian courthouse bomb threat was a hoax

BUCHAREST, Oct 10 (Reuters) Romanian police evacuated two major courthouses in Bucharest today after receving bomb threats, but later dismissed the calls as a hoax.

''The bomb squad on site completed its search and the alarm was false,'' said Bucharest police spokesman Christian Ciocan.

Police said an unidentified woman telephoned with the bomb threats early today morning. Police had initially said there was only one warning.
