Robbery at MP residence, teenager arrested
New Delhi, Oct 10 (UNI) Police have arrested a 19-year-old for allegedly stealing Rs 10,000 from the servant quarters of a Samajwadi Party MP's bunglow in the high security area here.
The theft was noticed in the wee hours at the servant quarters of the residence of Rasheed Masood, MP from Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh), by his secretary who found the door ajar at such an unearthly hour, said sources.
The almirah of the quarter had been broken and Rs 10,000 were missing.
However, the intruder who was in a highly inebriated state could not move out because of his wavering steps. He was found lying in the very room, sources added.
Police said they launched further investigations.
