PSPB badminton tourney starts tomorrow

Hyderabad, Oct 10 (UNI) Top shuttlers including Anoop Sridhar, Chetan Anand, Aparna Poppat and Saina Nehwal will take part in the 28th Inter Unit PSPB Badminton tournament to be held at Gachibowli sports complex here from October 11 to 15.

Players from IPCL, HPC, ONGC, DRDL, GAIL, Engineers India, Bharat Petroleum and IOC will vie for top honours in team and individual events.

Former All England winner Pullela Gopichand said the tournament was almost a national championship as top players of PSPB were taking part. ''This will facilitate the players to fine-tune their skills before the Asian Games at Doha,'' he added.
