'Operation Talash' from Oct 13 at Hisar

Chandigarh, Oct 10 (UNI) Haryana Railway Police will launch 'Operation Talash' from October 13 to 15 at the Hisar Railway Police Station for identifying those killed in various rail accidents in Haryana.

During this operation the police will display photographs and articles of the deceased who died in railway accidents on 1518 kilometres of railway lines across the state.

A spokesman of Railways Police has appealed to relatives of rail accidents victims to come forward to identify their 'missing' near and dear ones.

He said that the record of all 2143 missing persons registered in 11 railway police stations would be displayed at Hisar.

He said a three day similar operation was held at police station, Faridabad yesterday.

The spokesman further told that an operation was also held from September 29 to October one at Ambala, in which six persons were identified with the efforts of the Police Department.
