NRI film producer dies of heart attack in city hotel

Mumbai, Oct 10 (UNI) Niraj Patel, a film producer, died of a massive heart attack this morning in a five-star hotel.

The 35-year-old non-resident Indian had arrived to discuss about his new film venture with Bollywood personalities here and had put up in the hotel.

Mr Patel sent an SMS message to a friend, Aditya, complaining of chest pains around 0700 hours today. The friend immediately reached the hotel and rushed Mr Patel to the Jeevan Nidhi Hospital. But, the NRI film producer was declared dead before admission, police said.

Mr Patel had produced around five films.
