No nomination filed for the Koderma by-poll till now

Ranchi, Oct 10 (UNI) No nomination papers were filed on the second day of the nomination for the Koderma by-poll scheduled on November 6.

District electoral officer for Koderma by-poll cum deputy commissioner of Giridih Vinay Kumar Ambastha told UNI over phone that nomination papers have not been filed by any of the candidates till now.

The notification in this regard was issued yesterday. The nominations would be filed till October 16.

The inquiry of nomination papers would be on October 17 and last date of withdrawal is October 19.

Vote and counting for the by-poll would be done on November 6 and 9 respectively.
