Netherlands energy company shows interest in investing in Haryana

Chandigarh, Oct 10 (UNI) NUON, a Netherlands company engaged in producing sustainable energy has shown interest in setting up power projects in Haryana, especially in windmill and gasified coal-based projects.

This was conveyed to a high level official and business delegation from Haryana which is currently on a visit to the Netherlands. The delegation led by Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda yesterday visited a few windmill farms in Zeewolde in the Netherlands to study the possibilities of introducing clean energy in the state of Haryana.

Representatives of NUON explained to the delegation that they were producing sustainable energy in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium and trading it all over Europe.
