Mohit Industries diversifies into ''finished fabric'' sector

Mumbai, Oct 10 (UNI) Mohit Industries has diversified into the garments sector and has set up a garment manufacturing unit in the special economic zone (SEZ) The company has received an export order of Rs 9.50 crore from a US-based company for supply of 10 lakh meters of German Tissue Brasso fabric, according to a company release here today.

The company has diversified into ''finishing fabric'' for value addition, the release said.

The total cost outlay for the expansion project is envisaged at Rs 90 crore which will be financed by term loans from banks, financial institutions, FIIs, mutual funds and a right-cum-public issue at an appropriate time, the release said.
